Toledo Mudhens Fifth Third Field — Toledo, Ohio

Join OSTMA as they present the 2008 Summer Field Day.  The field day will provide participants with tours of the Toledo Mudhens Fifth Third Field, as well as tours of Sylvania Recreation sports fields and a vendor showcase.  Following the field day, stay to watch the Toledo Mudhens vs. Indianapolis Indians (optional).

9:15 – 11:30    Group Rotation:
  Infield Skin Maintenance, Jake Tyler, Mudhens
  Mound Repair – Kyle Leppelmeier, Mudhens
  Fertilization Needs—Joel Eaton, Fairmount Minerals
11:30 – 12:30  Bus to Sylvania & Lunch
12:30 – 1:15    Multi-field use/Scheduling, Phil Braselton,
  Sylvania Recreation
1:15 – 2:00      Cultural Practices for Native Soil Fields (aeration,
  fertilization, pest), Dr. Chuck Darrah, CLC Labs
2:00 – 2:45      Time/Budgeting, Brian Hall, Sylvania Recreation
2:45 – 3:30      Vendor showcase & final remarks                                           
3:30                 Return to Fifth Third Field                                                      
7:00                 Toledo Mudhens vs. Indianapolis Indians (optional)
